What we do
Windmill Psychology is a psychology service based in Liverpool, committed to enhancing the well-being of the local community. In particular, we recognise the challenges faced by community groups and those working for them. We believe that in order to provide care for others, people must experience that themselves. We are working to provide community services with spaces for reflection, connection, and support.
Windmill Psychology serves as a hub of support, helping community organisations share knowledge, access psychological expertise, and collaborate in ways that sustain both their teams and the communities they serve. Our activities include hosting a Café Psychologique, where people gather for open conversations about everyday psychological themes in a relaxed, inclusive setting. We also plan to run workshops designed to support those in community roles, explore resilience, and translate psychological ideas into practice.
In 2026, we aim to launch our first conference, Celebrating the Local, which will showcase the creativity, care, and collaboration happening across Liverpool and the wider Northwest.
At its core, Windmill Psychology seeks to foster connections to help communities grow stronger, together.
